To learn an art requires instruction. To learn an art intimately well requires masterful instruction. The art of bookbinding is no exception. The art of bookbinding offers numerous possibilities, and as with any art, each discipline has their beginner, intermediate, advanced, and master levels. Teaching has always been like a 'second nature' to me. Since the days of doubling as a bookbinder and Amish parochial school teacher, I have taken great pleasure in watching my students learn, and encouraging them to be better than myself, and to explore and innovate new pathways in whatever art they might pursue.

My Bookbinders Workshop Instructional DVD's (video's) in the art of hand bookbinding are produced in such a way that you'll feel as though you're standing at the workbench with me, learning the nearly two milleniea old art of hand bookbinding. I know that you'll enjoy these instructional video's. They have been fundamental in helping current binders augment their techniques, and crucial in helping others get established in their own business as a bookbinder.

With my personal best wishes for your success!
